I -10 To Miami

This layout is a replica of the poster I made for my dad, brother's, and oldest son to take to the game the New Orleans Saint's played against the Falcons.  It is simple in design but for any Saint's fan, it speaks volumes.  We are hoping to travel I-10 to Miami with our team for the ultimate game in Saint's History; The Superbowl.

Carts used:  50 States (state shapes), Street Sign (I-10 sign), Accent Essentials (Fleurs), Alphaliciuos (Font)

November Sista Swap Layout

Trying to scrap my stash, get caught up, and do what I love; scrap all at the same time.  I made my flower embellishment.  Very Simple technique.  Punch or cut the flower( Accent Essentials has one that is similar) at the desired size.  Thick/Full flowers work best.  Ink edges, pop with your choice of pop dots, I use foam tape, adhere brad or button to center.  Viola: instant embellishment that stands out.

I Am Tonya!

Stole the title from the movie " I Am Legend" and used it to create this layout for my sista swap.  Carts used Alphalicious -- font, Dreams Come True -- Window, George -- hearts and circle.  Bazzill Paper (from Hobby Lobby, bought a lot of it but then the more I use it, I don't like it.  It is just a little to shiny for my liking.  Also used SU cardstock and a MS punch.

Made the Dahlia from a tutorial at http://scrap-n-dance.blogspot.com/.  I just love making my own embellishments now.  After all didn't we buy the Cricut to save.  Ok, enough, here is the layout.

Secret Sista Christmas Card

I  saw all the wonderful creations last year and knew I wanted this Cuttlebug folder.  Didn't get it until after Christmas and I just had to use it this year.  I made this card for my Secret Sista, I hope she likes it.

What Santa doesn't bring, Grandma Will!

I saw this on a wall hanging at a store and just had to scrap it for my precious Symone.  It said "what Santa doesn't bring me, Grandma Will"!  Well, in typical me fashion, I forgot the me in all of the excitement of the layout but that is ok, it makes it mine.  I only hate that the red paper I had was different and of course I didnt' have enough of the same color but that's ok as well.

My First Etched Glass Project!

Some of my fellow mb friends are big into etching items for gifts and I too have caught the bug.  Had never etched before but wanted to try so bad.  I love personal gifts, they come from the heart.  My first attempts at etching were a series of mugs for my nephews and my son.  Here is the Saints mug for my son.  It ran a little but that makes it unique.

My Scrapbook Room!

Finally, I have moved out of my kitchen.  We live in  a small house and had three kids at home.  Recently, lost two, but not for good, awww.  No, son moved out and daughter is away at college.  I am using her room as a scrap/her room when she is home.  Well let's just say that the full size bed is gone and in came a twin.  Wishing they made something smaller.  Hubby built a workstation for me.  Here are pics of my little piece of Heaven on Earth.

My Harley Phone and Travel Cabinet
(it houses all the things I need at a crop, adhesives, inks, etc.)

My Work Station
(Built by Hubby, He Rocks!)
I intentionally left it messy because if you come
scrap with me, we will get messy.

Totally Scraplifted!

I saw this layout over the Black Friday Holiday. Monique Griffin, designed this layout for CWTC weekly challenge. She posted that it was the most detailed layout she had ever done. I agreed, it is full of beautiful details. I asked her if she would mind if I scraplift it because it is truly a work of art. Her answer was no. Below is my rendition of Home for the Holidays. I am going to incorporate pics of my family later.
