Crayon Wreath

I originally saw this wreath on the Cricut messageboard and knew I wanted to make one for my cousin.  That was in August, well needless to say the time has flown by and school is almost out but better late than never.  Thanks to Jenny for this wonderful creation.  This was the second time I have used the Cricut Markers and I must say I do like them.  I heat embossed my ruler and the scissors to give them a shiny effect.  TFL.

Supplies:
Crayola Brand Crayons
Stampin Up Clear Embossing Powder

Hot Glue(didn't like and will try to find another type of adhesive)

Platinum Scraps April Card Sketch

Our sketch this week over at  Platinum Scraps came from a very talented lady named Tamara.  Please visit her blog for other great sketches.  I made a birthday card for my daughter's boyfriend. Boy that word sounds so bad lol. Guess it's the old fashion in me.  The card is for his birthday.  He desires to be a chef.  He can burn pretty good for a youngster.

March Sponsor Paper

This week over at Platinum Scraps we were fortunate enough to have our very first sponsor gift the design team with a gift card for blog candy and paper for the team.  We each received paper from the American Crafts line, Blue Skies.  Each designer was able to create freely since this week was our Free For All (FFA).

I completed three different projects; a 6 X 6 layout, a card, and a bookmark.  The paper created a real challenge for me in many ways.  First, each designer only received 6 X  12 inch pieces of paper.  I like to do layouts (12 X 12), that alone scared me.  Then I am truly afraid of patterned paper.  But all in all, I think my work was good based on the challenges.  Hope you like.
