This to That

My how time flies. I first saw this page over on the Cricut messageboard and new I wanted to "lift" it. Thanks Julia Moss. I am still in awe over your work. This is the story of my "baby" who is now a senior in high school, hence from this to that. The first page is pre-kindergarten. Page 2 will feature things he did as he made this journey. Will share that later.

Carts used were Animal Kingdom, Doodlecharms, Indie Art, Printing 101, and Zooballoo.

EDPD - Band Player

This is my first attempt at using this cart. This is a band player for my son. He plays the saxophone, but I could not find one so I substituted the trumpet instead.

This is my layout for the Sista Thread June Birthday Swap. I used my stash as they say; eyelets, saftey pins, and yarn. It is very simple but sometimes simple says it all.

Um, Um, Good; Campbell's Can't Touch This

Ms. Kennedi Symone eating a Popsicle all by herself. She held on to that Popsicle for dear life. Only had a few pieces left; when the Popsicles splits off the stick at the bottom.

M. J. Prom Layout

My layout for the shirt challenge that I incorporated into my son's prom layout. Used Cricut cart Lyrical Letters, Bazzill-in-Stitchz for the swirls, and a Fiskars border punch for the edges. This is my take on a sketch done by Karrie at Lonestar Scrapbook Store.

Team 1 Flower Challenge

I entered this layout for the May 09 Team 1 Flower Challenge. The only requirement, you guessed it, was to use flowers. This is my darling daugther Tiffany and her friend.

This is a picture of my darling granddaughther and I at the ring ceremony. We, or should I say me, got soaked. I kept her dry but the weather ruined my "do".

My Baby, Officially a Senior!

Monday, May 11th Ring Ceremony at NCHS. Go Chiefs. I can't believe he is officially a senior. Everytime I see him with his ring, it let's me know that motherhood for me is getting ready to go in a different direction. M. J., my baby, is all grown up. Go new Senior!

Revised Layout

Here is my revised take on my layout for Team 1 Just Buggin Away, April Challenge. After a meeting with my consultant, we decided that I needed to go back to the drawing board. This is the finished product. Thanks consultant. Always grateful. TFL.

Just Buggin Away was our team name for the April Challenge. We had to use the card feature from any cartridge. I decided to use the telephone from the cart Wildcard.
Here is my interpretation:

Getting Older

Today, my daughter and I went to pick up her prom dress. She is a senior. I have come to realize that my babies are truly growing up. My "baby", is a junior, oh boy. I have always told them that my plan was to get all of them out of the house at once. Now it looks like that will be happening and fast. I will post pics next weekend of the two of them and their dates.

"I Made It, But Didn't Know It"

I made this layout for the Easter Challenge on the Sista Thread. I received several congrats the other morning from ladies on the board about the Chirp. Well I thought the Chirp was another bug added to your name for so many posts, so I went to see. That was not it. So I asked some of the girls behind closed doors and they left me hangin. Eventually, someone informed me. So now I know what the Chirp is. Ha Ha Ha.
Thanks to all my sistas. My work gets better because of you ladies challenging me to think outside the box. So this is for all my sistas.

set. We have been challenged to use from
our stash and not make unnecessary purchases.
